A Level Results Day

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of the Sixth Form Class of 2026, following a fantastic year which has seen a huge improvement in the progress our Sixth Form students.
This year, over 70% of our students are progressing to university and every single student who applied secured a place! Others are taking exciting next steps into employment, further education and their own individual pathways.
* Alfie achieved three Distinctions and an A and he is now heading to Liverpool John Moores University to study Computer Science.
* Ella achieved Distinction*, Distinction and a C and is off to Liverpool Hope University to begin her journey towards becoming a primary school teacher.
* Jack achieved an A, B and a Distinction and will be studying Creative Writing and Film Studies at Liverpool John Moores University.
* Zoe achieved a Merit, Distinction, and two Bs. With her passion for animals, she is now exploring her next step, choosing between training to become a dog groomer or pursuing a career as a veterinary nurse.
* Anthony achieved a Distinction* and two Distinctions and is building on the success he has already had at work and will be following a management training plan with the ambition of running his own business.
These are just a few examples from a year group who have worked incredibly hard, shown real determination and achieved so much. With progress improving significantly across every measure, the Class of 2026 have given us plenty to celebrate.
Mr Dolan, Strategic Lead for Sixth Form, said: “I could not be prouder of this group of students. They have worked incredibly hard, supported one another and shown real determination, often while overcoming significant challenges along the way. Seeing every university applicant secure a place is a wonderful achievement, but I am equally proud of every student taking their next step, whether that is university, employment, further education or another pathway. It has been a privilege to support them and watch them grow into the young people they are today.”
Behind every result is a young person who has worked hard, overcome challenges and taken another step towards their future.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026 and to all the staff who have supported them throughout their Sixth Form journey. Good luck, we can't wait to see where your next steps take you!
