At Alsop Sixth Form, we offer a wide range of courses to help students achieve their ambitions, structured through our innovative Alsop Tracks. These Tracks are designed to guide students in making thoughtful choices that align with their future goals.

How the Alsop Tracks Work

Students are asked to choose three subjects, and we encourage them to select carefully from the core subjects within their Track. This could mean choosing three core subjects or two core subjects with an additional complementary subject to broaden their studies.

We also recognise that some students have interests across multiple areas, and our Tracks provide the flexibility to personalise subject choices while ensuring these choices are cohesive and aligned with future goals. It’s essential that students think holistically about how their subjects fit together to avoid a scattergun approach.

Entry Requirements

Our general entry requirement for Alsop Sixth Form is a minimum of five passes at GCSE level. For students wishing to study Sciences, Maths, or Spanish, the following additional requirements apply:

  • For Sciences: A grade 6 is required from the higher paper.
  • For Maths: A grade 6 is required from the higher paper.
  • For Spanish: A grade 6 is required from the higher paper.
