Transition from Primary to Secondary

One of the biggest challenges that any student faces during their academic career is the transfer from primary to secondary school. We are confident that we have an excellent transition programme to ensure that students settle in quickly and enjoy their first few weeks at Alsop High School. This includes a close relationship with our feeder primary schools; opportunities for students to visit Alsop and an effective induction process to familiarise students and families with Alsop High School before and after their arrival.

If you have any queries about the transition programme please contact  our school office on 0151 235 1200 or email  the Admissions team on admissions@ahs.omegamat.co.uk

Liverpool City Council administer the admission and places are allocated by them.  For more information you can contact the school office on 0151 235 1200 or the Liverpool City Council Admissions Team on 0151 233 3006. Further information can be found on the Liverpool City Council website here along with the admissions application form

We hold Open Days which provide an opportunity for parents and prospective students to visit the school and the facilities we have have to offer.  To book a tour simply ring the school office on 0151 235 1200 and request a call back from our Transition Team.
