The library ran an Acrostic Poetry Competition to celebrate National Poetry Day on 3rd October. We had lots of fantastic entries and it was such a tough decision for us to choose a winner because of the high standard of the poems. As such, we asked students visiting the library to select our overall winner.

We would like to congratulate Laiba Zameer (Form 7.5) on her amazing entry. She is a regular user of our school library and we are delighted to see that she not only entered - but won - first prize in our competition! Who knows, she may even be one of our future Patrons of Poetry?
