We would like to give a huge congratulations to Lewie Carrigan and Anvia Aneesh in Year 8. They have completed the application process and been successful in gaining a much sought-after place on the Action for Conservation Summer Camp 2025 in the Peak District!

This opportunity is a chance to learn about nature, environmental justice, and how to take action, alongside other young people from across England and Wales. The camps are packed with conservation activities, careers advice and adventure; guided by young environmental professionals, the AFC team and partners. They will have the opportunity to bat watch, star gaze and enjoy nature. We can't wait to see all the photographs and hear the conservation ideas when they return. When asked for comment -

"I am so happy to have been chosen for this place, nature is a gift for the soul". Anvia A

"I am really pleased to be going on this adventure, achieving a future for our planet will take sweat, determination and hard work. I'm hoping we can have some fun there too!"Lewie C
