The Geography Department are very pleased to welcome Action for Conservation again this year, with a new group of year 7s for the 'Wild Ed' programme.

During our first session this week, students were given an introduction to different ecosystems, to find out what they know already. We also had some time outside, finding colour in nature to create a colour wheel and playing a few games to spark thoughtful discussion.

Future sessions will see the students taking on a project to improve our own school environment. We will also have an "Inspiration day" trip to the Gateway Collective, a local community garden, after Christmas.

If any more Year 7s are passionate about environmental issues and would like to join in, just let your geography teacher know.
