Alder Hey were overjoyed to host six students from Alsop for a placement week to support their BTEC studies. Lakshini, Elle, Liam, Parmida, Rebecca and Kiera were all valued team members for their time with us, supporting our clinical teams, patients and their families across some of our wards. We appreciate that placements can be challenging for our BTEC students as they navigate new environments, understand team and multi-agency dynamics and handle the intensity of paediatric health care but we found the Alsop cohort managed their time with us with respect and a commitment to excellence.

We hope the students learned some valuable lessons over the time with us which will assist them with their future aspirations. Our staff commented how passionate, diligent, caring and confident all of the students were.
